OUR MATERIALS

We are dedicated to integrating the most eco-conscious materials throughout our supply chain. Continuous investment in innovative fabric technologies is central to our strategy for minimizing environmental impact. While natural fibers are our preference, we strategically utilize recycled synthetics where they provide essential performance or durability advantages.

 

ORGANIC COTTON COMMITMENT

Global cotton farming is associated with high levels of harmful pesticides per acre compared to other crops. These chemicals deplete soil health, pollute waterways, and endanger farmers' wellbeing. In response, we are actively transitioning all cotton sourcing to certified organic.

· Our Method: Organic certification fosters healthier ecosystems for farmers, communities, and the planet. Practices like crop rotation and organic fertilization improve soil fertility and biodiversity. By replacing synthetic pesticides with natural alternatives, we protect groundwater sources and reduce hazardous exposure for agricultural workers.

· Our Progress: Cotton currently represents 50% of our fiber usage. As of June 2025, 70% of our conventional cotton across apparel has been successfully replaced with certified organic cotton, with a clear roadmap for full transition.

 

RECYCLED SYNTHETICS

We actively transform waste into resources:

· To date, we've diverted over 3 million plastic bottles and incorporated 400,000 pounds of reclaimed textiles and ocean-bound plastics into our collections.

· Our ReUse line utilizes entirely recycled polyester and nylon, providing lightweight, durable options for a wide range of garments.

 

REGENERATED WOOL & CASHMERE

Our partner mills in Italy collect discarded cashmere and wool garments through dedicated recycling programs. These items undergo thorough cleaning and specialized processing to extract high-quality fibers. For enhanced strength and longevity, the reclaimed yarns are often blended with a core of new, sustainable fiber.

 

DEMAND-LED PRODUCTION

Did you know traditional retailers often produce multiple garments to offset the cost of one due to inefficient demand forecasting? This practice inflates prices and generates immense waste. We operate on a Responsive Fashion principle, manufacturing solely based on customer orders. Our production strategy is constantly refined using customer insights and data analytics, resulting in waste levels dramatically lower than conventional fashion brands. This approach allows us to deliver products faster and with a significantly reduced environmental footprint.

 

BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGING

Effective January 2024, all new products are shipped in our plant-based, certified compostable packaging. We utilize advanced technology that modifies the polymer structure upon exposure to oxygen, triggering a rapid biodegradation process. This innovation allows our packaging to break down efficiently through microbial action in natural conditions far quicker than conventional plastic, offering a truly greener end-of-life solution.
